Users can contact Trekking Thrift to list their used hiking gear, including details such as the item’s condition, size, and any other relevant information. Once the information is received, the coordinator will review information and list the gear on the website.

 2. Who can participate in the gear donation?
Anyone with lightly used hiking gear they are willing to share or donate, as well as those in need of gear, can participate in this forum. If you are looking for gear, you will see a listing here.

 3. What types of gear are accepted?
A wide range of outdoor gear (Men/Women/Kids), including but not limited to hiking boots, backpacks, tents, sleeping bags, clothing, and accessories. Please ensure that the items are in reasonably good condition and suitable for use without repair.

4. How can I post a listing?
To post a listing, just contact TrekkingThrift.com using the “Donate Gear” link.

5. Is there any cost involved in using Trekking Thrift to donate gear?
No, it is free of cost.

6. How do I ship the gear to Trekking Thrift?
Once you contact us and if the gear is acceptable to be re-used/re-purposed, we will send you a shipping label to ship the gear to us.

7. Do I get a Tax Deduction for my donation?
No, there is no Tax deduction.

1. How do I request Gear?
Peruse TrekkingThrift.com for available gear and request any gear that is suitable for you.

 2. Can I request specific gear that I need?
No. The only gear that you could receive is what we currently have. We will update the listing weekly.

3. Is there any cost involved in using Trekking Thrift to request gear?
No, it is free of cost.

4. How do I receive gear from Trekking Thrift?
Once you request gear, it will be shipped to you free of cost – all you need is to provide us with your shipping information.

 5. What do I do if I receive the gear and I do not like it/does not fit/not in the condition I expected it to be?
If the donated gear does not work for you, please recycle it appropriately. There is no need to inform us.
